Letter from CEO

Ronald Oswalt, CEODear Sports Fans:

Being a devoted sports fan since birth I have always loved all sports but attending a small private school in Mississippi we got little or no attention. We played and worked as hard as the public schools but weren’t considered as good.

I went to college and worked in the athletic department at the University of Southern Mississippi and I was hooked, being at school the same time as Brett Farve and all the excitement around sports was amazing for me to experience.

The sports road started officially for me as a Sports Writer for the Leader-Call in Laurel, Mississippi. I received great instruction from staff and learned journalism and photography skills at the small newspaper.

I worked in medical sales for several years in Mississippi and Texas until I had the opportunity to work in sports as a Media Relations Director in the National Indoor Football League. It was here where I found my niche and was on the way to my true calling.

After working my way from a Media Relations Director, I moved into the position of Assistant General Manager for the Beaumont Drillers of the American Professional Football League. Making the championship only fueled my personal ambitions even more.

In 2008, I was named Vice-President/General Manager of the first year Austin Turfcats franchise of the Southern Indoor Football League. The team flourished going 10-3 and made the Championship game in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

While consulting for San Marcos Academy, I discovered all the 20 plus years of training and various jobs in sports came together. I want to make high school sports as great as they can be one school at a time.

If we generated new revenue streams and new record enrollments in today’s economy, then we can duplicate this process one school at a time. Give my team the opportunity to help your school to start thinking big.

Sincerely,

Ronald Oswalt
